What is it?The purpose of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) is to bring together members to reflect on the past year, discuss the club’s achievements, and outline future goals. This gathering provides an opportunity for members to engage in important decision-making processes, such as electing committee members, and planning upcoming events.
Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting of members. With the exception of the Chairperson, all elected committee positions will be re-elected annually. The Chairperson role will be re-elected every 2 years in line with the constitution. Members and experts can be co-opted on to the committee for agreed roles and input. Co-opted members will not have voting rights.
